Golden
Fleur-de-Lis - green version
A golden Fleur-de-Lis bearing a white shield with a black dog's
head, the traditional coats of arms of the tribe of Chod, also known as The Dog-heads,
who had guarded the southern borders of the Bohemian kingdom
in the Middle Ages.
The current badge of the Czech Scout Association
since 1992.

Home Country Strip CZECH REPUBLIC with
national flag
It is worn above the right breast pocket of the uniform shirt. Scout badge has
red lettering and border on beige background. Sea Scouts wear navy blue badge
with yellow border. The national flag has white and red fields with a blue wedge.

Scout Hat Badge
Bronze badge with a safety pin. Depicts Girl Guide Trefoil
with the motto „Be Prepared!“
Worn on the hat or beret. Not a part of the uniform.

Eagle Feathers
Brown oval with red trim. The highest test in Czech Scouting.
Symbolizes the three highest tests a Scout should complete – hunger, silence and
courage. Similar to Rover quests.
Worn on the right sleeve above other achievement badges.

Highest level of achievement of boy or girl Sea Scouts, ages
11-15. Similar to the Quartermaster Award in BSA. Gold Anchor over a gold ship's
wheel on blue background with blue trim.
Worn on the left sleeve under the troop number and Sea Scout
flag.

of Sea Scouts
Commodore of Sea Scouts. Four gold bands with a curl and two
anchors over a lifesaver. Badge of the Chief Sea Scout in the Czech Scout
association.
Worn on the right sleeve of the navy blue blazer.

Bohemian
(Czech) Lion
National coat of arms consists of silver Lion of two tails
with gold claws and royal crown on a red field. Original Coat of Arms of the
Bohemian kings.
A collectors item, not worn on uniforms.

Silesian
Eagle
Black eagle adorned with a gold crown. The original Coat of
Arms of Silesia – a sovereign kingdom in the Middle Ages, later divided between
the Bohemian and Polish kingdoms, now the northeastern part of the Czech
Republic bordering modern day Poland.
A collectors item, not worn on uniforms.

Lion
Red and White checkered eagle with golden talons wearing a
crown. Traditional Coat of Arms of the Moravian Markrabiate, once an autonomous
territory of the Bohemian Kingdom. Eastern part of the current Czech Republic.
